This Indenture made this 12th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty six Between James Taylor party of the first part of the County of Campbell and State of Kentucky and David Ross, Lavina Hill, Margaret Perin, Moses Ross, Samuel Ross, Isaac N. Ross, Minor Ross, John J. Ross, and Elmira Ross, heirs of Enoch A. Ross decd party of the second part of the County of Warren State of Ohio witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of one hundred and twenty two Dollars and 50 cents current money to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and forever acquit and discharge the said party of the second part, their heirs, executors and administrators: doth by these presents grant, bargain, sell, alien, and confirm unto the said party of the second part their heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of lands lying and being in the County of Warren and State of Ohio on the waters of the Little Miami being part of Survey No. 3802 containing sixty one acres and 1/4 of an acre be the same more or less and bounded as follows towit: Beginning at a hickory & maple the East corner of said Survey in the line of William Moxleys Survey No. 1499 thence with said Moxleys line S53°W 104 poles to a maple thence N37°W 88-1/4 poles to a stake in Solomon Goodpasters line thence with his line N45°E 104 poles to his corner a hickory in the line of Crittendens Survey thence with said line S37°E 102 poles to the beginning. Together with all and singular the appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining: and the reversions, remainders, and profits thereof: and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim, and demand of him the said party of the first part of, in, and to the same, to have and to hold the lands hereby conveyed, with all and singular the premises and every part and parcel thereof, with every of the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, heirs and assigns forever to the only proper use and behoof of them the said party of the second part their heirs and assigns forever And the said party of the first part and his heirs all and singular the premises hereby bargained and sold unto the said party of the second part their heirs and assigns against him the said party of the first part, and his heirs and all and every other person or persons whatever doth and will warrant and forever defend by these presents and Keturah L. Taylor wife of the said James Taylor doth hereby relinquish her right of dower in the premises In witness whereof the said James Taylor & Keturah L. Taylor have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. (Signatures/seals of James and Keturah L. Taylor were by James Taylor Jr., atty. in fact) Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Wm. Crosson & A. R. Bennett Received for record Nov 19th 1836 and recorded 21st same month. State of Ohio, Warren County: Before me William Crosson a Justice of the Peace within and for said County and State aforesaid Personally came James Taylor Junr attorney in fact for James Taylor and Keturah L. Taylor the within named grantors and as their attorney in fact acknowledged the signing & sealing of the within conveyance to be his voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 12th day of October 1836. Wm. Crosson J.P. (seal)

Ross and Almira Ross and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within named conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and that they are still satisfied therewith this 19th day of Aug, 1843.
