Warren County, Ohio, Deed Book 27, Pg. 308-309, 8 Jun 1839: Quticlaim deed by David Ross and Hulda his wife, Drias [sic] Perrine and Margaret his wife, Moses Ross and Sarah his wife, Samuel Ross and Mary his wife, and Isaac N. Ross heirs at law of Enoch A. Ross, to John Starkey; parcel by the Little Miami, part of Survey No. 3802, 61-1/2 acres. (N.B. by DNR: re: David/Hulday, see 1840 Leg. Misc. note)

(same document) State of Ohio, Clermont County (sealed) On the eighth day of June A.D. 1839 personally came before me Moses Elstun a Justice of the Peace in and for said County Derius [sic] Perin and Margaret his wife, Moses Ross and Sarah his wife, Samuel Ross and Mary his wife and Isaac N. Ross signors to the foregoing deed and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their act and deed for the purposes therein expressed and the said Margaret, wife of the said Derius [sic] Perin, Sarah Ross, wife of the said Moses Ross, Mary Ross, wife of the said Samuel Ross,, being by me examined separate from and out of the hearing of the said husbands, did declare upon such separate examination that they did voluntarily and of their own free will and accord sign seal and acknowledge the same and that they are still satisfied therewith. Given under my hand and seal the day & year first above written. (signed) Moses Elstun J. Peace

The State of Ohio, Clinton County (sealed) On the twenty eighth day of January A.D. 1840 personally came before me, John Carman a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, David Ross and Huldah Ross his wife, signors to the foregoing deed, and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their act and deed for the pruposes therein expressed: And the said Huldah, wife of the said David Ross, being by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, did declare upon such separate examination, that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith. Given under my hand and seal this 28th day of January A.D. 1840. (signed) John Carman J.P.
