He lived in Warren Co. in Oregonia, OH, worked for the railroad, owned over 350 acres of land and farmed the land. His property ran along the Little Miami River. He married Ellen M. Logan b. ALLISON
  • Hugh Allison updated 7 November 2005
"My great-grand-uncle, John Allison (1831-1928) arrived in Morrow around 1858 we think. He arrived via Canada, so there are no immigration records. My current interest is in the family tale that there were already Allisons in Morrow prior to his arrival. I am wondering who they were, and if they might, in turn have been some kind of relative of his, (like uncle, or 2nd cousin or somesuch). So I am interested in any Morrow village Allisons who predate 1854/1858, and I would dearly like indication of their origin."
