Henry H. Hastings was born near South Lebanon, July 24, 1866, and passed
from this life February 13, 1934 at the home of his son Ralph in Waynesville,
Ohio, at the age of 67 years 6 months and 20 days. He was the son of James

two sisters and two brothers survive him.
On December 27, 1888 he was united in marriage to Rachel A. Stubbs who

the 42 years of life they shared together. To this union were born six
children, three of whom died in infancy.
He was a member of the Main St. Presbyterian Church and was always active
and interested in community affairs. He was a well known and upright citizen
of Warren County, a faithful husband, a kind father and a friend to all.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Ralph of Waynesville,
Elmer of Lebanon, and Carlos of Dayton, five grandchildren, two sisters,
Mary Ann Irons and Ada Smith of Lebanon, two brothers, Will and James
of near Lebanon, and a host of friends.
