      " . . . David attended Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School in Dayton, where he was born, and admirably enlisted to the Navy for the World War II effort on September, 28, 1944. He went to boot camp in the Great Lakes on the NTS Great Lakes II and served in WWII on the USS San Saba (APA-232) Haskell Class Attack Transport and Landing Craft SCH Pacific. David was a ship fitter 3rd class and received the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal and a Philippine Liberation Ribbon for his efforts for his beloved country. . . ."

      " . . .Edward was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country in World War II as a paratrooper. He was a First Sergeant in the 508th Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division under General Matthew B. Ridgway. He was a 1936 graduate of Bellbrook High School, Bellbrook, OH. Edward was employed as a tool maker by Associated Spring Tool and Die, Dayton, OH for over 30 years. He was also a self employed farmer. He was a charter member of the Matthew Ridgway Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, Dayton, OH, and the Waynesville Lodge #163 F. & A.M., Waynesville, OH. . . ."
