Know ye, that John M. Blackford a private of Captain D. Weider’s Company (H) 146 Regiment of Ohio National Guards Volunteers, who enrolled on the 2nd day of May 1864 to serve 100 days is hereby discharged from the service of the United States, this 7th day Sept 1864, at Camp Dennison, by reason of expiration of time.
Said John M. Blackford was born in Warren County, in the state of Ohio, is 19 years of age, 5 ft. 9 inches high, dark complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, and by occupation when enrolled, a farmer.
Given at Camp Dennison, this 7th day of Sept 1864.
