Mrs. Anna N. Pauley.Mrs. Anna M. Pauley, of Mason, died last Saturday, at the advanced age of eighty-one years and six months, of dropsy. In her death Mason looses one of its oldest and best loved ladies. She was a native of this county, having been born near Lebanon, October 28, 1806. Her maiden name was Reeder. She was married to the late John Pauley, October 1, 1828. They had seven children, four of whom survive their parents. She had been a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church since 1837 and died in its membership. She was a kind, sympathetic Christian lady, and her death will be widely mourned, especially by the poor. The funeral services were conducted at Mason by Rev. G. A. Blair and the remains were interred in the Lebanon cemetery. |
