JOSEPH HENDERSON War. Com. Pleas On this sixth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight
hundred and twenty eight, Personally appeared in open Court, Joseph
Henderson an applicant for naturalization, who being duly sworn
according to Law, deposeth and Saith, that it is his bona fide intention
to become a citizen of the United States of America; That he will support
the Constitution of the United States , that he doth hereby absolutely
and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign
prince, potentate, State of sovereignty whatever, and particularly he
renounces all allegiance and fidelity to his Majesty the King of Great
Britain and Ireland &c. whom he was heretofore a subject; And the
said Joseph Henderson also Saith that he has never born any hereditary
title or been of any of the order of nobility in any country whatever,
and further he saith not. Sworn to & subscribed in open court the 30th Oct. 1828 |
