Exparte Joseph Henderson, Application for Naturalization

Warren County towit:
Joseph Henderson, an applicant for naturalization, in his own person in open Court, being duly sworn declares and says that he will support the Constitution of the United States, and that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, State of Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to his majesty William the Fourth King of Great Britain, Ireland &c. to whom he was heretofor a subject, and further saith not.

On this day personally appeared in open Court J. Milton Williams and Anthony H. Dunlevy, who on being duly sworn depose and say that they are well acquainted with the above named Joseph Henderson, an applicant for naturalization, that he has resided within the United States for more than five years past, and within the County of Warren within State for more than one year previous to this time, and said affiants further say on their oath aforesaid, he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same; and further affiants say not.
