“Frank W. Stanton, a Franklin Methodist Minister, built this Greek Manor house in 1923. He and his wife Georgia are buried at the Franklin Mausoleum in Woodhill Cemetery. The Stantons sold it to the Meeker family. Fred Farmer and Marjorie Meeker were married here in the 1940’s. The Meekers sold it to Dr. John and Dorothy Sharts who lived here about 53 years. We bought this home in 1999 and are enjoying every aspect of it.” May we share the words of the orginal owner Mr. Stanton."In this Holy, Happy christmas time unable to send you any richer gift, I break for you the alabaster box of my heart's affection, and send you herewith the fragrance of my good wishes. "An ancient legend relates that when Jesus walked upon the earth, floweres sprang up in His pathway". May it be so in your heart and in your dewlling. My best wish for you is that Christ may walk with you as your Savior and Friend, teaching you the secret of Life, the worth of Love, the finess of Friendship, and the joy of service. May the words of the angelic choir, "On earth peace, good will toward men," be your inspiration this Merry Christmas. Tide."
