| The buildings for this institution are in course of construction and will cost over $100,000. The main building, shown at the top of this cut, will be of pressed brick trimmed with red marble and will be 180 feet long and 144 feet deep. It will be three stories high and will be one of the handsomest educational buildings in the south. The ladies' hall, shown to the right, will be 125x75 and four stories high. The buildings are being erected in a grove of oak and pine trees near the city, and will be ready for the first session, which will begin Tuesday, September 5th, next. Prof. Josiah Holbrook, so long and favorably identified with the educational interests of Lebanon and Ohio, will be president and manager |
