In the name of God Amen, - I Alexander Woods late of the
County of Warren Ohio hereby make this my last will and testament in manner
and from following, - 1st I give and bequeath to my sons John, James and Alexander each the sum of ten dollars, having heretofore, made such provisions for them as I believe to be just and equitable. 2d I bequeath and devise to my son Samuel Woods and daughters Jane Bonner, Mary Gray & Rebecca Kennedy each the one equal undivided fourth part of my estate real and personal after the payment of my just debts and legacies aforesaid, - My real Estate being one hundred and forty acres lying in the County of Warren and being part of the north east quarter of Section No. twenty one and of the South East Quarter of Section No. twenty two, township two in Range five between the Miami Rivers and being bounded on the north by land held by Alexander Woods Jr., and A. Allen – my said farm and real estate to be divided equally share and share alike among my said children Samuel, Jane, Mary and Rebecca to be held by them and their Heirs and Assigns forever, - the share and part of any of them that may die before me to be held by the children and legal issue of any of them that may die before me – And I hereby revoke all former wills made by me and establish this as my last will and testament leaving especially to all my children the legacy of love and affection and assigning my soul and spirit onto the hands of my merciful creator with the hope of a glorious resurrection through the merits of our Blessed Redeemer, - Executed and acknowledged by me this 8th day of December 1841 Alexander Woods {seal} Witnesses Andrew McCleary John Rossman |

Codicil Wheras I Alexander Woods on the 8th day of December in the year 1841 made my last Will and testament of that day as hereby declare the following to be a codicil to the same I do hereby give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Bonner the undivided one fourth part of my estate before described provided that she survives her husband David Bonner and if she does not survive her husband the portion allotted to her to be divided equally among my three children before mentiond Samuel Woods. Mary Gray and Rebecca Kennedy. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 12th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six.
