In addition, the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library is one of the few libraries in the United States which has all census microfilms for all states for all years.

The enumerator was supposed to record the information for all members of the household who were alive on the "Enumeration Date" even though they may have passed away by the time the enumerator visited the household. Age was supposed to be "as of their last birthday". The age of children under one was recorded in months.
