The Null cemetery is located
on the grounds of what used to be the Clear Creek United Brethren Church
in Christ Chapel located southeast of village of Springboro. The exact
date the church [or cemetery] was established is not known but is said
to be a very early date in the Beers History of Warren County, pages 593-594.
About 58 burials in the cemetery are known of dating from the 1823 burial
of Adam Blin to the 1894 burial of Henry
Bean. The Warren County Genealogical Society sponsored a Cemetery Restoration Clinic at the cemetery 8 Sep 2012. Blinn Family descendants sponsored the Blinn Family Restoration Project on 20 Jun 2013 which restored and unearthed additional stones. Ethel Beard Simons email dated 28 Sep 2012 (a Blin/Kesling/Null Descendant) "I'm pretty sure there are Crosley's in this cemetery. If I still have my original readings I will send that info on. Several of us determined that there might be as many as 64 burials in this cemetery, but we've not found church records or minister's diaries to prove it. |
