Miami Valley Memory Gardens is a large commercial cemetery owned and operated by Service Corp International as part of their Dignity Memorial Provider Network. The cemetery was established in 1956 by Ellis Back on a 92 acre parcel of land. As of December, 2010, we know of 13,871 burials in the cemetery including 1,109 who are known to be veterans.

    • Our thanks to the following who contributed photographs and transcriptions for the Miami Valley Memory Gardens Virtual Cemetery. Their photographs will be added to this site and the Warren County Genealogical Society will eventually use the results of their efforts to publish a new Cemetery Book
      • The Apostles, Cross and Everlasting Life sections were photographed by the Aric Harrison Eagle Scout Project.
      • The Prayer and Last Supper Sections were photographed by the Philip Stanfield Eagle Scout Project.
      • The Doris Kading family photographed nearly all of the Devotion section. 
      • The Dana Palmer family photographed the rest of the cemetery (Christus upper & lower, Babyland, Family Heritage, Chapel Maus 1, Chapel Maus 2, Maus 1, Maus 2, and Estates) and re-took photos that were blurry or were new burials since the Eagle projects were complete in all other sections (Prayer, Last Supper, Everlasting Life, Cross, and Apostles). Andy, Megan and Joseph Palmer helped with double checking all the names and cleaning off the stones for Prayer, Last Supper, Everlasting Life, Cross and Apostles.
      • LaVonne Smith photographed the gravestone in the Garden of Devotion in March of 2012.
      • Jack Colglazier provided a spreadsheet of burials in the Garden of Devotion on 18 Dec 2014. These have been incorporated into our index for the cemetery.
