July 10, 2004 | Lee Appleton | I accidentally found the transcriptions of Isaac
and Mary (Appleton) brown Bible on the Warren County website. This was very
interesting because my great great grandfather was John Appleton, who with
his brother Benjamin, left Trenton New Jersey with Mary and Isaac and their
children and immigrated to Ohio. John married a Lettie Brown, and about
1850-1853 moved to Washington township, Carroll County Indiana with Benjamin
and his children. If any additional information is known about this family,
I would appreciate it. I have the picture of the Appleton family log cabin taken in 1938 by my uncle before it fell in disrepair. I am hoping there might be some old pictures that may help identify a few of the old pictures i have that i am certain are of the family during this time frame, but cannot as of yet identify them. Thank you very much for your efforts in this transcription |
