Phoebe (in 1850, 1860 census, living with grand daughter, Amanda Noble Wright, OH)
Died 15 Dec 1864, Warren Co, OH
My main interest is the CHANDLEE family, who made long case clocks and surveying instruments, including for George Washington. However, I have looked for this Phoebe for many years, and am delighted to have finally located her."

NOTE:
Phoebe Wharton was buried 12th mo. 15 1867 in Row 10 Grave 37 in the Hickite portion of the Miami Monthly Meeting cemetery in Waynesville, Ohio.
Her remains were removed to Miami Cemetery on 11 Nov 1869 and reburied in Sec F Lot 66.
All extant gravestones in both cemeteries have been photographed by the Warren County Genealogical Society. No gravestone was found for Phoebe in either cemetery.
