Know ye, that Charles Edward Rigby, a private
of Captain John Cretor's Company, (B) 79th Ohio Vols., who
was enrolled on the 11th of August, 1862 to serve 3 years or during the war
is hereby discharged from the service of the United States, this 9th day of
June 1865, at Washington D.C., by reason of G.O. 77 ago 1865 and instruction
ago June "65.
Said C. E. Rigby was born in Baltimore in the state of Maryland,
is 30 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, dark complexion, black eyes, brown
hair, and by occupation when enrolled, a cigar maker.
Given near Washington D.C., this 9th day of June 1865.
