National Normal University
Thirty-Fifth Annual Commencement.
FALL CLASS, 1890

Contributor:
Bill Ehrenstrom (transcribed by Arne H Trelvik)
Source:
Bill Ehrenstrom found the program amongst items belonging to his father-in-law.
[ The program lists 68 graduates of which 33 were from Ohio. The remainder were from 14 different states and one foreign county (Germany). A significant portion (21) of the out of state graduates were from southern states.  It appears that only 5 of the graduates were from Warren County.]
Comments:

The Commencement Program for the fall class of 1890 contains eight pages.  We believe this program was for the brother of my wife’s great grandmother. The name listed in the program is W. M. Matthews from Dickinson’s VA. The brother’s name was Wilson Monroe Matthews, from southwest Virginia (Roanoke area where Dickinson VA is) and born in 1867 so he’d have been 23 in 1890.
