Don writes:
"I bought at an auction this past Saturday (March 13) an old 1890's or so photo album with what appears to be several Cabinet Card school students photos. They were all taken on Cherry Street in Lebanon and over half have the names and where they are from on them.

The Estate was the Adams/Fisher Estate in Carlisle Co., KY I do know Mrs. Adams was a school teacher in Carlisle for years but I think these would be more from her parents school days. "

Comments:
  • The photos are about 5" x 7" in size and scanned at 300 dpi. The web versions have all been reduced to a width of 600 pixels.
  • Most of the photos are identified as being taken by L. E. Kratzer, 219 Silver St., Lebanon, O.
  • A quick search of some of the materials held by the Warren County Historical Society was made on 21 Mar 2004. I was able to find records showing that 8 of the 10 named individuals were students at the National Normal University [NNU] in Lebanon, Ohio in the 1894-1896 time period. They are identified in the photo list below with the notation [see NNU page]
