David Wright (____-1862)

David Wright, a member of Company C, 50th Ohio regiment, died at the Billmire House on Monday last. The deceased came to this place one day last week, and said he was on his way to Dayton, to find his friends. Some of our citizens discovered that he was sick and unable to travel, and took him to the Billmire House, where every attention was paid him. He was an entire stranger in this place. The Cincinnati Commercial says he was well known in that city. He could not give any direct information of his friends. His funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational Church; the different ministers of Lebanon officiated. His remains were followed to the grave by a large number of citizens. He was buried with honors of war.

Oscar Joel Wright (1809-1882)

Warren County lost one of her truest sons, and Waynesville a firm friend and good citizen in Mr. Oscar J. Wright who died at his residence there last Friday morning.  Although he had out-lived the years usually alloted to man, his death is keenly felt not by his old friends and neighbors, nor Waynesville only, but by the whole county.
