THORNTON, Edward E. Jr. age 45, of 216 W. 5th st. Waynesville, Oh, died at 6:04 AM Friday at the Ambulatory Care Center, Miamsburg, Oh. He was born May 11, 1937 in Xenia, son of Edward Sr. and Maxine? Elliott Thornton. He was proprietor of Thornton Cream Delight at Waynesville. He is survived by his wife, Roberta E. (Knight), his parents of Xenia; 1 daughter, Tina Louise at home; 2 sisters, Mrs. Kay Ann Cline of Wilmington, O., Mrs. Dianna Charles of Xenia; 2 brothers, Ronald Thornton of Decatur, Ind.; Jerry Thornton of Xenia. Services 10:30 AM Monday at McColough Funeral Home in Xenia, Ohio, Rev. Dennis Miller of The Evangelical Methodist Church officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Friends may call from 7-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
