Charles Richardson

FRANKLIN - Charles Richardson, 6661 Shaker Rd., was pronounced dead on arrival at Middletown hospital at 8:35 this morning.
Mr. Richardson was taken to the hospital from his home by Eaton ambulance.  It was reported he succumbed to a heart attack.
The body was taken to the Eaton Funeral Home.
Arrangements have not been completed.

Gip Henry Richardson (1918-1944)

County Soldier Dies in France
"Pfc. Gip H. Richardson was killed in action in France on Aug. 19, according to a War department telegram sent Friday to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Richardson of Route 3, Lebanon. He was in the infantry.
Pfc. Richardson was inducted July 6, 1942
Born in Richmond, Ky., he spent most of his life in Warren county. He was employed at the Philip Carey co. plant in Lockland prior to his entering the army.
He was home on furlough in May and went overseas July 11.
Survivors besides his parents are: six brothers, Robert of Morrow, Elton of Lebanon, Virgil of Sharonville, William of Kenwood, George of West Chester and Alfred of Richmond, Ky.; and two sisters, Flossie Richardson, at home, and Mrs. Effie Schumacher of Lebanon."
