Albert Joe Kokoski (1935-2007)

Born on Mar. 19, 1935
Departed on Sep. 9, 2007 and resided in Springboro, Ohio, .

Albert Joe Kokoski, age 72, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2007. Al was born March 19, 1935 in Dothan, West Virginia. He graduated from Glenville State College in 1958 and after teaching school for 2 years moved to Ohio and worked for Black Clawson until he retired in 1997. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Coleman and a brother, Gene Coleman. Al is survived by his wife of 36 years, Anna; mother, Nellie Kokoski Staples Nowlin; a son, Michael Kokoski of Beckley, West Virginia; two daughters, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Vossler of Springboro and Caroline McKinney of Lebanon, Ohio; three brothers, Bill Staples, Eddie Nowlin and Mike Nowlin of Oak Hill, West Virginia. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Amber McKinney of Lebanon, Ohio. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
