Evelyn [Vincent] Hughes

Evelyn Eileen Smith Landacre (nee: Vincent) Hughes, 74, of Morrow and a longtime area resident, died Saturday, Nov. 17 at Loveland Health Care Center.
She was born in Bethel, Ohio on March 4, 1927 to Author [Arthur] Eckman Vincent and Kathryn Frances (nee: Vignon) Vincent [died with surname Enz] and was a graduate of Morrow High School. Evelyn was a member of the Loveland Eagle’s Lodge and enjoyed reading, sewing, embroidering and working with plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, David Vincent, and husbands Joseph Smith and Marvin Hughes. Survivors include one son, Robert E. Landacre II of Goshen, four daughters, Judith Ann [Smith] Booher and her husband Charles or Morrow, Ruth [Landacre] Wegenhart and her husband Randy of Goshen, Mona E. Landacre of Lebanon, and Robin R. Lung and her husband Joe of Maineville, seven grandchildren, Bobbi [Booher/Applegate] Tindle, Chris Landacre, Tony Lung, Johnny Wegenhart, Ryan Landacre, Kali Landacre and Travis Lung, one great-granddaughter, Nicole Tindle, and ex-husband Robert Landacre.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Morrow Cemetery. The arrangements were handled by Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
