Flora B. (Johnson) Gray (1851-1926)
Flora B. Gray was born Sept. _th, 1851 near Springboro, Ohio, and died
Dec. 11th 1926, aged 74 years and 3 months.
She was the oldest daughter of Larkwin F. and Mary E. Johnson. Her father
died when she was quite small. Her mother married again to John
Fye in 1855.
In their new home she aided in the rearing of a large family of half brothers
and sisters, who still remember her as a true sister.
On Nov. 25th, 1869, she united in marriage to James L. Gray who preceded
her on July 29th, 1921. They were blessed with three children, William
A. Gray, of Springboro, Ernest J. Gray of near Carlisle, Ohio, and Mary
E. Easton, of near Springboro, Ohio.
Besides her children she leaves four grandchildren, one great grand child,
five half brothers, two half sisters and a host of friends and relatives
to mourn her loss.
One sister, one half sister, two half brothers and two grand daughters
having preceded her.
Her entire life was spent in Warren county, and those who knew her best
loved her most.
Her friends will long remember her as a reserved and unassuming but unselfish
friend.
Her brothers and sister, grand children and children will always cherish
the memory of a devoted and affectionate sister, grandmother and mother.
