ROBERT FRANKLIN DEARDORF.

Robert Franklin, son of Frank and Clara Deardorf, was born in Butler County, Ohio, January 19, 1906, departed this life March 30, 1914, aged 8 years, two months and 11 days. He leaves his father and mother, two brothers George and Raymond and one sister Anna Mary to mourn his departure.

Six weeks before the day of little Robert's death he came home from school sick. During the weeks that followed he was a constant and patient sufferer, though very thoughtful and considerate of his mother and friends as they cared for him. After a long and hard struggle for life little Robert calmly resigned to God's will passed away sweetly and peacefully to be with Jesus.

Little Robert was of a bright and cheerful disposition. Ever loving and being loved by all. From a letter written by his Sunday School teacher Miss Lucy Banta we quote: "Robert's life was short when counted by years, but his memory will live on and on. He was such a dear little fellow in the Sunday School class, and was so quick to learn. We shall miss him from our class."
