OBITUARY
CHARLES R. CROPPER.
Our community has met with a sad loss in the death of Dr. Charles R. Cropper, which was caused by apoplexy on December 5th.
Dr. Cropper was one of the leading Homeopathic physicians of Ohio - a man of acknowledged ability, but so modest and retiring in his nature that it was only to a few who were privileged to come close to him that the full richness of his character was revealed.
While eminent in his profession his best life was his home life; his loving heart and sunny disposition were a constant support and joy to those whom the Lord had given him. He was a man of rare worth in every walk in life; a loyal citizen; a true friend; a devoted husband and father, and better than all of these, which includes all of these and brings the glory from the Better Land to scatter the shadows which surrounds us here, he was an humble follower of the meek and lowly Jesus - a loyal soldier of the Cross.
"Tis sweet to think as o'er and o'er
Friends out of sight we lose,
How grows in Paradise our Store."
