Obituary. Mr. Burrows lived in Lebanon and vicinity for the last 44 years, and during the last 11 months, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. French, where he died. He was a consistent member of the M. E. Church for almost 45 years. He was a kind and devoted husband, a fond and affectionate father, and his death left lonely the household which his presence had served to cheer. Our dear father has gone to join the blood-washed throng, where no sickness
nor sorrow is, for there Jesus has wiped all tears away. It was on a beautiful
Sabbath afternoon his children and friends laid him in the cold grave
with tears of grief. Yet their faith is, that he is no there, but gone
to the enjoyment of the eternal Sabbath that remains for the blest. |
