Tobias Bretney

In Adams County, on Friday last, in the ninety-fifth year of his age, Tobias Bretney, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Lebanon. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal, and Methodist Protestant Churches, for sixty-nine years; was a devoted christian, a good neighbor, a kind father, and a thoroughly honest man. He settled in Lebanon in 1796, where he has since resided for the greater portion of the time.
