OBITUARY
Mr. Henry E., Breen, a well known
and prominent citizen, died at his home
near Ft. Ancient, Friday morning
at 10
o'clock, January 4, 1901, aged 37 years
11 months and 10 days. Mr. Breen had
been sick for thirteen weeks with ty-
phoid fever, but his many friends had
hoped for his recovery. His death was
a shock and a sad blow to his relatives
and friends, who thought he was getting
better. He was essentially a home lov-
ing man, an unselfishly devoted husband
and father.
The funeral was held Monday, Janu-
ary 7, at 9 a.m., from St, Francis De
Sales church, Lebanon, the high mass of
requiem being celebrated by Rev. N. J.
Kelly. who also preached a touching
sermon. Interment was made at Leb-
anon cemetery in the Breen lot, which
had been blessed.
Mr. Breen was married July 25, 1888
to Miss Olive M. Allen. To them were
born two children - one daughter, aged
10 years, and one son, aged 8 years - all
of whom survive. He also leaves
mother, father, one sister, and three
brothers to mourn his loss.
