BATTALION ORDERS The first rifle Battalion 2nd Brigade and first Division of Ohio Militia, are hereby notified to meet in Deerfield on the first Saturday in June next, at 10 o'clock A.M. uniformed and equipped as the law directs for the purpose of a battalion drill. By order of the Col. WM. REYNOLDS, Adjt. April 12, 1828. BOAT AHOY. The subscriber respectfully informs his friends and the public in general, that he has come to anchor in his Cabinet shop on Main street Lebanon, one door west of the Clerks Office, and nearly opposite Mr. William Fergusons Tavern. Those who may think proper to give him a call, may rest assured that they shall be accommodated in the best manner the country can afford. Having relinquished all other business but that of Cabinet making, punctuality will be regarded as the only desider-atum for his bread and meat. Country produce will be taken in exchange (as also a little cash) for every kind of Cabinet ware. Through much tribulation the publics humble servant WILLIAM M. BRIGADE ORDERS. BRIGADE REQUEST, To the Colonels, Lieutenant Colonel or commanding Officers of Regiments or Independent Corps within the 2nd Brigade & 1st Division Ohio Militia. Gentlemen: It is earnestly recommended by the Brigadier General of said Brigade that the resignation of no Commissioned, or Staff Officer be received between the 1st of June and the 1st of October next; that all vacancies which have, or may take place, be filled by the 1st of July -- and that, they use the utmost of their exertions, to have the officers of their respective Corps in complete uniform by the 1st day of August next. The General flatters himself, that from the disposition heretofore manifested by the officers of his Brigade, that their appearance, when paraded for the Drill, will be of such respectability, as will do honor to themselves, and those who shall have the honor to command them.
