LEBANON WESTERN STAR

September 19, 1834

PUBLIC VENUE There will be sold on Saturday the Eleventh day of October next, at the residence of Abigail Tichenor, two and a half miles west of Lebanon, and a half mile south of the Oxford road, the following property, to wit: Several head of Horses, One or two good milch Cows, 10 or 12 good fattening Hogs, and a few stock Hogs, - one two horse Waggon nearly new, and other articles too tedious to mention. Three months credit will be given on the hogs and ten months o all the rest. Abigail Tichenor Sept. 19, 1834.

CAUTION (again this is only partially readable - essentially Jos. H. Burgess had his apprentice Isaac ? age 17 or 18 run away and a five dollar reward was offered.)



TAKEN UP By Samuel N Gustin, a resident of Clearcreek township Warren county, on the 9th day of Aug. 1834 a Dun Colored HORSE, black mane and tail, black legs from the knee down, excepting on the left hind leg immediately above the hoof, a white mark or ring nearly round his leg, a small mark on the inside of the right hind leg, close to the hoof, fifteen hands high; no other marks or brands perceivable, four years old last spring; & we do appraise the said stray to the sum of sixty dollars. THE STATE OF OHIO WARREN COUNTY COURT OF COMMON PLEAS , AUGUST TERM 1834

John Satterthwaite vs Daniel B. Mitchel, James Clutch, Deborah his wife, Timothy Brelsford, and Bulah his wife, Aaron Dill, and Ann his wife, Cornelius Morford and Margaret his wife, Samuel Hains and Amy his wife...The complainant having heretofore filed in said court his bill of Complaint stating in substance that he had obtained two judgments against the said defendant Mitchel...(remainder not on my copy)



THE STATE OF OHIO WARREN COUNTY, COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF THE TERM OF AUGUST A.D. 1831

William Lytle, Jr. vs Jacob Koogle, Catharine Crane and Lewis Crane

The complainant having filed on the Chancery ? of the Court of Common Please for the county aforesaid his bill of complaint setting forth amonst other things, in substance, that the defendant Koogle became largely indebted to him and that he has obtained a judgment agains said Kookle for the amount due him, and hold an equitable mortgage from said Koogle on part of lot No 35 in

the town of Lebanon in said county to secure the payment of his said debt...."

William S. Hatch, Cornelius Vanausdall & John M. Gray vs. Thomas Silver, James Silver, David Silver, Eliza Silver, William Ferral?, Bartholomew Wistar, John Siter Jun's, Richard Price Jr. and Elliot Cresson The complainants having fild in said court their bill of complaint setting forth

in substance that the defendant Thomas Silver became largely indebted to them for merchandize and to secure the payment therefor executed to the complainant, Hatch, a mortgage on his undivided interest in a part of Section No nine, in the second township and fifth entire range between the Miami rivers which interest was sixty two and one half hundredths of said tract

equal to two hundred and fifty acres...."



THE STATE OF OHIO, WARREN COUNTY COURT OF COMMON PLEAS, AUGUST TERM A.D. 1834

John Gethen and Richard M. Burke executors of the last will and testament of Allen Armstrong dec'd vs William Lowry survivor &c. Case in Attachment Damages $600. Notice is hereby given that on the eleventh day of July AD 1834 a writ of attachment issued from the Court of Common Pleas for the county aforesaid against the good, chattles, rights, credits, monies, effects, lands

and tenements of the said William Lowry defendant in favor of the above named executors, plaintiffs. The writ issued for the sum of six hundred dollars and return thereof was made to said court at the last term thereof. J.K. Wilds Cl'k, John Wood Esq. Atty for plaintiff Lebanon, Sept. 19, 1834
