RALPH E. SNOOK POST NO. 186

The local post of the American Legion, which was started last week, has been named for the late Ralph E. Snook, Co. F, 147th Infantry and henceforth will be known as Ralph E. Snook Post No. 186.

A Charter has been awarded the local post and now it is the desire of those in charge to enroll every ex-service man in the county as a member of this organization. Two hundred members by November 1st, that is their aim.

To date the following ex-servicemen have enrolled:
Earl McCreary, Paul L. Kemper, Morton Hancock, Milton Hancock, Edward Ross, Arlie Roll, Sam R. Hyman, Donald Hall, Robert Hatfield, Albert Shinkle, Dean Dakin, Jacob Reid, William Reid, Tom B. Hutchinson, Fred Eltzroth, Clyde Braden, Carl Stibbs, Paul Kahn, Guy Marlatt, Herschel W. Williams, Leslie Vorhes, Howard Reif, Bernard Southard, Oris Hamilton, Frank Irons, John Apking, Corwin Gallaher, Arch Hall, Floyd Rowland, Abraham Fred, Truman Griswold, Roger Decker, Wm. Suemening, Curtis Hall, Karl Dakin, Elwood Borden, Earl Spencer, Thomas Brandon, Frank O'Neall, Edward Burns, Lisle Vorhes, Elmer Skidmore.

Lieut. Kemper, who is assisting in the organization of the Post is trying to establish a regular post here and he wants every ex-service man in it. Apply for enrollment at the Book Shop.
