Bishop-Rettig.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bishop of Eighth street are announcing informally the marriage of their daughter Elizabeth to Francis Rettig, son of Peter Rettig of Hughes street, Middletown.

The nuptials were secretly solemnized at Newport, Ky., Tuesday June 25, in the presence of the bride's sisters, the Misses Gladys and Ada Bishop.

Mrs. Rettig is a graduate of the Franklin high school with the class of '27, and is popular among a host of friends both here and in Middletown.

Mr. Rettig, following his graduation at M. H. S. in '25, attended the Dennison University for three years. He is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. At present Mr. Rettig is employed with the Standard Oil Company.
