Henry Howry arrived home on Tuesday from Colorado Springs,
and with his mother will spend the winter in Florida, at her daughter's
Mrs. Voorhis.

The election for Justices of the Peace on Tuesday last was quite spirited
in the afternoon. The following is the result:

John P. Keever 263

On last Friday evening Mrs. Danie Perrine was stricken
down with paralysis and is in a very dangerous condition.
------------------
We regret to chronicle the serious illness of Miss Blanche Scoville,
who is lying very low with inflammation of the bowels at her home. As
we go to press there seems to be no improvement.

The Rev. T. A. Brandon of Union City, Ind., has been
employed by the Christian Church at Bethany as their pastor for the next
year. He will make Lebanon his home. He is well and favorably known in
this community where he formerly resided.
------------------
The cards are out announcing the marriage of H. Percy Smith
and Miss Imogen Parshall on next Thursday evening at
the residence of the bride's mother. Upwards of two hundred invitations
have been sent out.
------------------
Miss Amanda Stokes, late of the Xenia Home, is stoping
with her bother Walt Stokes.
------------------
Miss Maria Adams came home on Tuesday to spend her Thanksgiving
at her mother's.
------------------
Miss Anna Porter, daughter of Gov. Porter
of Indiana, is a guest of Mrs. McKay, on Broadway.
