Silver Wedding and Surprise. The twenty-fifth anniversary of the marriage of David Mulford-Marry Reeder, was celebrated on Wednesday of last week at the residence of Mrs. Ann Mulford, two miles west of Lebanon, which proved to be a grand entertainment to those present, and a great surprise to the silver wedded couple, who for a quarter of a century have enjoyed the pleasures and faced the stormy blasts, hand in hand, along the path way of life. There were seenty-six of those invited, that were present. The wide spread table was elaborate with eatables of rare excellence, and showed ability in cuisine art. The wedded pair were the recipients of many articles of household use. Among the array of presents was a fine display of different kinds of silver ware for table use, of which were several of solid silver. The day was beautiful and all seemed cheerful. The event was a very social and hospitable affair and its remembrance will not soon be forgotten. W. D. M.
