HAND IS BURNED IN HOLIDAY ACCIDENT
FRANKLIN - July 5, - Joseph Priest was the victim of one of the many accidents which occurred on the Forth. A sky rocket which he held in his hand, preparing to light it, exploded and severely burned his left hand.

IS HELD IN JAIL
FRANKLIN, July 5 - Elbert Collins, of Tennessee, who has been in Franklin for about three weeks, was arrested by Officer Morgan on Sunday evening, for drunkenness. He was fined $10 but unable to pay is being held in the local jail.
