Beautiful Home Wedding at Genntown Makes Miss Hazel Drake and Mr. Lacy Mitchell One

Midst the scenes of her childhood, surrounded by about fifty of her most intimate friends and close relatives, Miss Hazel Drake became the bride of Mr. Lacey Mitchell last evening at her home in Genntown.
The house was a replication of nature's outdoors and floweres appropriate to the season were everywhere in evidence.  At the storke of eight the bride descended the stairs on the arm of her father, Corwin Drake, while the strains of the wedding march were sweetly played by Miss Lucile Drake.  The groom with his best man, Ben H. Lewis, Miss Elva Drake the bride's sister and bride's maid, and the officiating minister the Rev. E. G. Walk completed the wedding party.  Standing under a large bell suspended from an old colonial arch formed of drooping vines and banked ferns the couple exchanged rings and the vows which made them one and inseparable.
The bride was gowned in white landsdowne with chantilly lace and pearl trimmings, and carried a bouquet of white bride's roses.  The bird's maid was attired in a gown of pink messaline.  the color scheme of the dining hall was carried out in pink and white, and here the assembled guests gathered and light refreshments were served immediately after the ceremony.  The happy couple then departed on a trip to the lakes.
Mr. Mitchell is the leading architect for the contracting firm of Horace Hopping and is held in high esteem by all with whom he ever came in contact.  Miss Drake is a graduate of Lebanon University and has taught in differnet schools around Lebanon for the past few years.  Her happy light-hearted nature and lovable disposition makes her stand highest in the regard of those with whom she is most intimately acquainted.  The Western Star wishes for the two the most enjoyable of journeys both among the lakes and through their future lives.
