AN OLD RESIDENT

Geo. F. Harris, for more than 20 years a resident of Lebanon prior to the war of the Rebellion and who enlisted from here in the 12th Ohio Infantry, spent the latter part of last week and the first of this week with his niece, Miss Sarah Harris, who is in charge of the boys department at the Orphans' Home.

Mr. Harris was born in Middletown in 1840, coming to Lebanon in that year with his parents and remaining here until his enlistment in 1861.  He was at Cincinnati attending the encampment of his company and stopped off here on his way home to Logansport, Ind.
