Page 8; May 22, 1890 LEBANON GAZETTE. COUNTY NEWS. Collected By the Gazette's Correspondents and Brought Down to Date. Waynesville. Among those who are blessed with a ripe old age, a vigorous physical constitution, a clear recollection and an active mind is Mrs. Martha Anderson. Born in Berks county, Pa., March 4th, 1806, she came to Ohio in 1831 and in 1832 was married to Dr. William H. Anderson, of Warren county. She and her husband lived on a farm near Waynesville until 1848, when they moved to Maineville, but the next year returned to Waynesville, where her husband died in 1874. Mrs. Anderson is still a strong, vigorous old lady, a good talker, of active habits, fond of walking, has good health, and her friends hope that she may long be spared to bless others by her cheerful sunny disposition. |
