Memorial To Congress From Citizens of the Territory [no date, 1801]
Memorial from purchasers and settlers on the lands originally contracted for by John Cleves Symmes asking for an extension in time to pay the government for their lands (which they had already paid Symmes for). The Memorial is on pages 191 and 192. The list of memorialists starts on page 192 and continues through page 194. Page 195 indicates the memorial was referred to committee on 26 Jan 1802 and contains a second list of memorialists.

If anyone would like to trancribe any of these pages, I would be happy to add the results of their efforts.
