This is the entire battery of deeds found by DNR that dispose of Jacob's and Katharina's realty holdings, dated from 1899 into 1901.

Jacob Diebold by Heirs - To George N. Jones Know all Men by these Presents: That Barbara Morgan and C.F. Morgan her husband, Permelia Bennett and Minor Bennett her husband, Mary Ross, Wm. B. Diebold and Ella Diebold his wife, George Diebold and Emma Diebold his wife, Kate Whitacre and Wright Whitacre her husband, Lizzie Price and Frank Price her husband, Jacob Diebold and Elizabeth Diebold his wife, John Diebold and Bessie Diebold his wife, George Balzhiser, Frank Balzhiser, and Kattie [sic] Balzhiser, all the heirs at law of Jacob Diebold (deceased) in consideration of Sixteen hundred and ninety six and 50/100 ($1696.50) Dollars to them paid by George N. Jones of Harlan Tp. Warren County Ohio the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and convey to the said George N. Jones his heirs and assigns forever, the following Real Estate to wit: Situate in the County of Warren State of Ohio and bounded and described as follows; Being part of Survey No. 3795 &3798, beginning at a stone corner to John Scheer thence with his line S45-1/2°W.18 poles to a stone, thence N.42-3/4°W.72.5 poles to a stake in a branch of Littles run, Thence up said run as it meanders S.67-1/2°W.17.2 [poles to a honey locust, Thence S.60-1/2°W.19.4 poles to an ash, Thence S.18W34.2 poles to a stake and white ash corner to Hills heirs, Thence with their line S32°E. 78 poles to a white oak corner to said heirs land in Snells line, thence with his line N.36°E.11.3 [sic] to a stake, Thence S.35°E.32 poles to a stake and hickory corner to Andrew Spence, Thence with his line N.45-1/2°E.98.4 poles to a stake and hickory corner to said Spence in the line of the aforesaid Scheer, Thence with his line N.37-1/2°W.41.4 poles to the beginning Sixty five Acres and one rood and all the estate title and interest of the said Barbara Morgan (N.B: and all the heirs earlier named:DNR) either in law or equity of in and to the said premises; Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging and all the rents issues and profits thereof: To have and to hold the same to the only proper use of the said George N. Jones his heirs and assigns forever -- And the said (N.B: heirs earlier named:DNR) for themselves and for their heirs, executors and administrators, do hereby Covenant with the said George N. Jones his heirs and assigns that they are the true and lawful owners of the said premises and have full power to convey the same: that the title, so conveyed, is Clear Free and Unincumbered: and farther that they will Warrant and Defend the same against all claim or claims of all persons whomsoever and further covenant with said George N. Jones that he shall have immediate possession of said farm with the exception of the house which he is to have possession of on the First day of March 1900 also that said house shall then be in as good repair as same is now elements excepted. In witness whereof the said (N.B: heirs named above:DNR) hereby release their right and expectancy of Dower in the said premises, have hereunto set their hands at the time named in their several acknowledgments. Wetmore witnessed as to (these heirs) Jacob Diebold, Elizabeth Diebold. Emma C. Murphy, Daniel M. Murphy witnessed as to (these heirs) Frank Balzhiser, Katie Balzhiser. Thornton Thompson, E.F. Thompson as to George J. Balzhiser. Mr. F.H. Brink, J.B. Anderson as to F. H. price & Elizabeth De [sic] Price. Nelson Stad, L.B. Doughty as to Barbara Morgan, G.F. Morgan. M.J. Evans, R. M. Evans as to Mary Ross.

THE ATTESTATION AFFIDAVITS

The State of Ohio, County of Warren SS// Be it remembered that on the 14 day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine before me, the subscriber a Notary Public in and for said county Personally came George Diebold, Emma Diebold, Wm. B. Diebold, Ella Diebold, Permelia Bennett, Miner L. Bennett, John A. Diebold, Bessie Diebold, Kate Whitacre and Wright Whitacre grantors in the foregoing deed and acknowledged the signing thereof to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my Notarial seal on the day and year aforesaid. (Seal) Milton M. Bird, Notary Public.

State of Ohio, Hamilton County SS// On this 17th day of November 1899, before me a Notary for said county, personally came Jacob Diebold and Elizabeth Diebold his wife, grantors in the above deed and acknowledged the signing thereof to be their voluntary act for the purposes therein mentioned. State of Ohio Clermont County SS// On the 21st day of November A.D. 1899 before me a Notary Public in and for said county personally cam Frank Balzhiser and Katie Balzhiser two of the grantors above and acknowledged the signing of said deed to be their voluntary act for the purposes therein mentioned. Know all Men by these Presents That we Geo. Debold and Emma Debold his wife, Jacob Diebold and Elizabeth Debold his wife, John Debold and Bessie Debold his wife, Permelia Bennett and Minor Bennett her Husband, Barbara Morgan and C.F. Morgan her husband, Lizzie Price and Frank H. price her husband, Kate Whitacre and Wright Whitacre her husband, Mary Ross, Geo. Balzhiser, Frank Balzhiser and Katie Balzhiser and heirs at law of Jacob and Catharine Debold Dec’d of the Co. of Warren and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of Forty five Hundred Dol. $4500 to them paid by Wm. Debold of the county and state aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant bargain sell and convey to the said Wm. Debold his Heirs and assigns forever the following described real estate Situated in the County of Warren in the State of Ohio and in the Tp. of Harlan and Bounded and described as follows to wit: being part of Survey #3795 on the waters of todds fork [sic]. State of Ohio county of warren SS// be it Remembered that on the 6th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one, before me, the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, personally came George Debold, Emma Debold, Permelia Bennett, Minor Bennett, Katharine Whitacre, Wright Whitacre, Jacob Debold, Elizabeth Debold, John Debold and Bessie Debold, The Grantors in the forgoing Deed, and acknowledged the signing thereof to be their voluntary act and deed, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my Justice seal on the day and year aforesaid. (Seal) Henry Giehls, Justice of the Peace, Warren County.

State of Ohio County of Clermont SS// Be it remembered that on the ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one (1901) before me the subscriber a Notary Public in and for said County personally came Frank Balzhiser (unmarried) and Kate Balzhiser (unmarried) both of Clermont county Ohio two of the grantors in the foregoing Deed and acknowledged the signing thereof to be their voluntary act for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
