16 Mar 1840: Quticlaim deed by Miner T. [sic, and he signed that way] Ross of Clermont Co., to Vincent Brown; parcel by the Little Miami, part of Survey No. 3802, 61-1/2 acres.
(same document, pg. 308) State of Ohio, Clermmont County (sealed) On the sixteenth day of March A.D. 1840 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace within and for said County personally appeared Miner T. Ross who signed and sealed the foregoing deed and acknowledged the same to be his free and voluntary act for the purposes therein expressed. Given under my hand and seal the day & year aforesaid. (signed) Moses Elstun Justice of the Peace
