Judy Davison's research notes:
Hiram Baldwin appears on the 1827 tax list for Warren Co OH but not the 1830 census, where his widow appears as head of house. It's my assumption that he died between 1827-1830. All the heirs herein mentioned were residents of the county until October 1836 at least. More than half of Hiram's living children are not listed in the indenture, possibly because they were already removed to other locations. Hiram's widow Mary and some of her children eventually moved to Dearborn Co IN and are most likely included in the household of son Francis Baldwin there in the 1840 census. My 2nd great-grandmother Rhoda Ellen (Rhody) Baldwin married her first husband, John P. Sparks in Dearborn County, Indiana in August 1841. Sources and additional information are on my family tree at rootsweb.com.
