JOHN JACOB SWIGER/SWIGERT

The State of Ohio
Warren County ss

Personally came into open court John Jacob Swiger of Warren county & state aforesaid who being duly sworn that he has heretofore been a subject of the King of Wirtemberg in Germany and he further declares that he will support the constitution of the United States and he doth hereby renounce and abjure absolutely and entirely all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign prince potentate state or sovereignty whatever and particularly to the King of Wirtemberg in Germany.

Personally appeared in open court William Hopkins who being duly sworn saith that he has known John Jacob Swiger an alien who applies to be naturalized for more than five years past during which time he has and still does reside in the county of Warren in this state. That he is a man of good moral character & will disposed towards the government of the United States & the good order of the same.
