Henry Hyser, husband of Parthenia Evans, died February 1843 in Warren County Ohio without a will. A few of the documents resulting from the probate of his estate are included below

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT WE William Hyser
Abraham Brant, William Littleton, Henry Hyser Jr., Amos Parker & Levi Jennings.

of the County of Warren and State of Ohio, are held and firmly bound unto the State of
Ohio, in the sum of three thousand five hundred. –
dollars, to which payment will and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and each of us, joint-
ly and severally, our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these
presents: Sealed with our seals at Lebanon, the 27th day of February
in the year of our Lord 1843.

The condition of the above obligation is such, that, whereas the Court of Common Pleas
within and for the county of Warren, on the 27th day of February in the
year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty three, granted letters of administration
on the estate of Henry Hyser Senr deceased, unto
the above named William Hyser & Abraham Brant —
Now, if the said William Hyser & Abraham Brant —
shall make and return to said court, on oath within
three months, a true inventory of all the moneys, goods, chattels, rights, and credits of said
deceased, which have or shall come to their possession or knowledge; and also if re –
quired by said court an inventory of the real estate of said deceased – and shall administer
according to law all the moneys, goods, chattels, rights and credits of said deceased and the
proceeds of all his real estate, that may be sold for the payment of his debts, which shall at
any time come to the possession of said administers or to the possession of any other per-
son for them And shall also render, upon oath a true account of their administra-
tion within eighteen months and at any other times, when required by said court of the law;
and shall pay any balance remaining in their hands upon the settlement of their accounts
to such persons as the court or the law shall direct; and shall deliver the letters of administra-
tion into court in case any will of said deceased shall be hereafter duly proved and allow-
ed — Then this obligation be void, otherwise not.

Henry Hyser

Joseph Jack personally came before me the undersigned
Justice of the peace for the Township of union in the
county of warren & state of Ohio who being by me
duly sworn saith that he did on the 3d day of March
1843 read the written Notice to the heirs of Henry
Hyser ___ _____ to Thomas Evans & Sidney Evans his wife
Martin Dunn & Lydia Dunn his wife & Eliza Ann Hyser
and also set up two copys of the ____ one at [Lockport???] & one at Lebanon

of March 1843
