JOHN HENDERSON War. Com. Pleas Personally appeared in open Court John Henderson an
applicant for naturalization who on being duly sworn according to Law
deposeth and saith, that he is twenty eight years of age that he was born
in the County of Donnegal in Ireland from whence in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and fifteen - being then a minor under the
age of twenty one years, to wit of the age of fifteen years; he emigrated
with his fathers family to the United States of America, that he now resided
and has continued to resided in the United States, to wit in Warren County
in the State of Ohio from the year Eighteen hundred and sixteen until
the present time and the said John Henderson saith that during the time
he has been a resident in the United States aforesaid, he has been attached
to the principles of the Constitution of the United Sates and well disposed
to the good order and happiness of the same: And that it has been his
bona fide intention for at least three years past to become a citizen
of the United Sates; And he further saith upon his solemn oath, that he
will support the Constitution of the Unites States; And that he doth absolutely
and entirely renounce & abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any
foreign prince, potentate, State of Sovereignty whatever; and particularly
he renounces all allegiance & fidelity to his Majesty; The King of
Great Britain and Ireland to whom has was heretofore a subject; and the
said John also saith that he has never borne any heredity title or been
of any of the order of nobility in any country whatever. Sworn to & subscribed in open court the 30th Oct. 1828 |

The State of Ohio Warren County Personally appeared in open Court John McCreary who
being duly sworn according to Law, deposeth and saith that he has been
acquainted with the within named John Henderson applicant
for naturalization for at least the term of year years past; during all
which time said John has resided in the County of Warren in the State
of Ohio, And That he believes he has behaved as a man of good moral character,
attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and
well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same and further
saith not. Sworn to & subscribed in open Court 30th Oct. 1828 The State of Ohio Personally appeared in open Court James D. Blackburn,
who being duly sworn as the law directs deposeth and saith that he has
been acquainted with John Henderson the within named
applicant for at least the term of ten years past; during all which time
said John has been a resident with the County of Warren in the State of
Ohio; and that he believes he has behaved as a man of good moral character
attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and
well diposed to the good order and happiness of the same & further
saith not. Sworn to & subscribed in open Court 30th Oct. 1828 |
