The State of Ohio
Warren County
Application for naturalization.
Personally appeared in open Court George Henderson an applicant for naturalization who on being duly sworn according to law Saith that he is twenty two years of age that he was born in the County of Donnegal in Ireland from whence in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen he being then a minor under the age of twenty one years; to wit of the age of nine years; he emigrated with his father’s family to the United States of America; that he now resides and has continued to reside in the United States, to wit in the County of Warren in the State of Ohio from the year eighteen hundred and Sixteen until the present time and the said George Henderson saith that during the time he has resided in the United States, he has been attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same, and that it has been his bona fide intention for at least three years past to become a citizen of the United States. And he further saith upon his solemn oath that he will support the Constitution of the United States. And that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, State or sovereignty whatever, and particularly to his Majesty the King of Great Britain and Ireland to whom he was heretofore a subject; And the said George Henderson also saith that he has never borne any hereditary title, or been of any of the orders of nobility in any country whatever.

Personally appeared in open court John McCreary who being sworn as the law directs, Saith that he has been acquainted with George Henderson the within applicant, for the term of ten years past, during all which time said George has been a resident of the County of Warren in the State of Ohio that he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order & happiness of the same, and further saith not.

Blackburn who being duly sworn according to law saith that he has been acquainted with George Henderson the within named applicant for at least the term of ten years past during all which time said Henderson has lived in Warren County in the State of Ohio, that he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same and further saith not.
