October Term 1826.
Be it remembered that on the Seventh day of November in the year of our
Lord One thousand eight hundred & twenty six James Blackmore
makes report of himself in the word & tenor following to wit “To
the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas within & for the County of
Warren & State of Ohio, James Blackmore an applicant for Citizenship
& naturalization in the United States of America, makes report to
the said clerk that he was thirty eight years of age on the twenty eighth
day of November last that he was born in the parish of Uffculm
in the County of Devon in England and owed allegiance to the king
of Great Britain that he migrated to the United States from England in
the year eighteen hundred & Seventeen, that he is at present a resident
of the County of Warren aforesaid where he has settled. Witness my hand
this 7th day of Nov. A.D. 1826 James Blackmore”
On 16 Jul 1818, a James Blackmore of Warren County, purchased
the north half of Lot 287 in the town of Lebanon from John and Mary
Hollingsworth
(Warren County, Ohio, Recorder, Vol. 7 page 656) On 28 Mar 1829 a James
and Miriam Blackmore of Miami County, sold 25 acres in Section
33 of T4ER2N of Deerfield Township to John D. Slayback
(Warren County, Ohio, Recorder, Vol. 16, page 299) |
